OnDemand Web Development
WebIvy re-allocates web devolpment from IT to Marketing by allowing the Web Designer to manage DHTML+, basic HTML that dynamically consumes web services - whether its their own company data, 3rd Party data/features or WebIvy Features. WebIvy allows web designers to utilize a standard name spacing convention from the web service to insert in the HTML as a means to integrate data or features. Any changes to business logic can come from the Web Service. If a WebIvy client wants to add Rich Internet Applications such as AJAX on the User Interface (UI), WebIvy client developers can utilize WebIvy as a development platform. Within Div Tags, Web Designers can also add OnDemand Features and/or designate content areas.
WebIvy completely separates the HTML from the base code. The "separation" approach is what distinguishes WebIvy from any other tehnology platfrom. WebIvy allows clients to manage a single code base across mulitple domains. A client can control their unique URLs and make design changes across mulitple URLs with only having one code base only utilizing HTML.
In addition, WebIvy completely separates the Page Template and the Page Copy. By doing this, there is an advantage to site-specific testing or even multi-lingual features.
OnDemand Features
WebIvy provides presentation layer features for client web sites OnDemand. An example of some of these features are blogs, forums, calendar of events, site search, etc. A full list can be found atOnDemand Feature List. If a WebIvy client does not find features available to meet their needs they may find the ones they need at WebIvy Services which are features contributed by other WebIvy clients. If there are still features that they still require, a WebIvy client can either submit a request to WebIvy to understand timeline for that feature to become available, or explore plug-in options for those features or use the WebIvy platform as a development platform to develop that feature themselves.
The benefit to the WebIvy Features are that they are OnDemand and that NO INTEGRATION is required. Features become available to WebIvy clients IMMEDIATELY upon request. For example, if a WebIvy client wants a Blog Feature, it will then display on their interface to be used however they wish to design it or utilize it within their web site. As a comparison, integration is required if utilizing a blog from a plug-in or CMS. Web Designers can take advantage of these features via Div Tags in their HTML.
Use WebIvy for your main web site or just to extend your online marketing programs or distribution via widgets, micro sites, white labels, mobile sites and new landing pages for paid search campaigns.

OnDemand Infrastructure
WebIvy allows for non-technical resources to both "review" and "deploy" web pages. WebIvy hosts the presentation layer of your web site. By hosting the UI, WebIvy Client web pages are deployed to the "Cloud". WebIvy partners with major data centers and will utilize one requested by our client or can use the WebIvy data facility. By migrating to the Cloud, WebIvy clients save costs on bandwidth, deployment, hardware and infrastructure resources.
WebIvy utilizes a proprietary WYSIWYP (What You See Is What You Publish) technology. Each Client is provied a preview.yourdomainname.com environment that is the same base code and resides on the same server that ultimately is deployed to production. As such, if it works in "preview", it will work the same way in production. There is no risk of defects created by migration from one environment to another. Marketing can control QA and manage deployment (and minimize defects)
Deployment to the Cloud can be managed by Marketing resources and can be done instantaneously. There is no software to install or hardware to manage. Version control is managed by WebIvy along with User Roles and Priveledges to validate publishing access rights.
