Platform Modules

The WebIvy platform combines the following OnDemand components: Web Development, Web Features Deployment and Infrastructure.  The Platform is broken into the following modules:

- Designer Studio
- Content
- SEO
- Web
- Dashboard
- Workflow

Designer Studio - The Designer is the Development Platform for the web designer that allows a designer to create web pages with mere knowledge of HTML.  The designer can either create the HTML directly in WebIvy or utilize an existing application (like DreamWeaver) and paste the HTML into WebIvy.  The Web Designer can apply OnDemand Features, assign content areas or business data within Div Tags of the HTML.

Content - WebIvy provides a full content module that allows Marketing to manage/edit/create site copy.  The WebIvy client can manage revision history, user roles and edit fonts, hyperlinks, etc.

SEO - WebIvy provides a full SEO Module for both the Page-Level and Site-Level.  At the page level, the WebIvy client can create and manage the page URL, Title Tag, Meta Tag, Kewords/Descriptions, Page links, No-Follows, Site-Map-inclusion and Tag Cloud.  At the Site Level, the WebIvy Client can manage the XML Site Map, Broken Links, Keywords, Tags,  SEO Analysis, etc.

Web - The WebIvy Web Module allows the client to manage web page Copying, Publishing and Templating.  Clients are provided with a preview.yourdomainname.com that resides on the same server as production.  As such, Marketing can control QA and minimize defects.

DashBoard
- The WebIvy DashBoard allows the Client to manage the macro-level site administration - user roles, security, web features, Web Analytics, SEO Analytics, etc.

Best Practices

WebIvy was designed as a self-study user friendly application.  There is no need to learn anything 'new'.  However, to the extent one needs to know best practices associated with items such as Page Title length or Keywork Density, WebIvy will have OnDemand Training, Professional Services and Client Service options available.

Client Services

With every WebIvy account, a Client Service Manager will be assigned.  The Client Service Manager will better direct a client toward solutions.  WebIvy will provide an initial set of hours per year for Client Service Managers but there will be ample OnDemand Training and Professional Services available for WebIvy Clients.
